New perspectives on old texts: proceedings of the Tenth International Symposium of the Orion Center for the Study of the Dead Sea Scrolls and Associated Literature, 9-11January, 2005 (Studies on the texts of the Desert of Judah; Vol. 88)

This quantity offers new views at the historical texts came across at Qumran. The essays supply clean insights into specific texts and genres, by means of using tools and constructs drawn from different disciplines to the examine of the lifeless Sea Scrolls, and via exploring new in addition to long-standing concerns raised by means of those works.

This publication constitutes the refereed complaints of the fifth overseas convention at the conception and alertness of Cryptographic innovations in Africa, AFRICACRYPT 2011, held in Ifrane, Morocco, in July 2012. The 24 papers provided including abstracts of two invited talks have been rigorously reviewed and chosen from fifty six submissions.

Algorithmic Game Theory: 6th International Symposium, SAGT 2013, Aachen, Germany, October 21-23, 2013. Proceedings

This booklet constitutes the complaints of the sixth foreign Symposium on Algorithmic online game thought, SAGT 2013, held in Aachen, Germany, in October 2013. The 25 papers awarded during this quantity have been conscientiously reviewed and chosen from sixty five submissions. They disguise numerous vital features of algorithmic video game concept, corresponding to resolution ideas in online game conception, potency of equilibria and the cost of anarchy, computational facets of equilibria and video game theoretical measures, repeated video games and convergence of dynamics, evolution and studying in video games, coordination and collective motion, community video games and graph-theoretic elements of social networks, balloting and social selection, in addition to algorithmic mechanism layout.

Once again, to further compare the results, profiles are extracted at the centre of each bright area in Fig. 7 (note that a mean filter is used to reduce the noise level). Fig. 8 shows that these profiles are relatively close. The profiles of the upper bright areas will be symmetrically similar to those of the lower areas. The radius of each sphere accurately matches the corresponding radius in the reference volume. Also, the difference of radioactivity is preserved in the reconstructed slices. Test 2.

The radioactivity of one of them is twice as great as the other one’s activity. 25 −5 cm (a) Set up. (b) Sinogram. Fig. 4. Test sinogram Fig. 5 shows examples of tomographic slices reconstructed using our evolutionary method and the OS-EM algorithm. Method 1 consists in incrementing the voxel value of the reconstructed volume for each fly that lies in that voxel. Method 2 consists in accumulating the marginal fitness of each fly whose fitness is positive and that lies in that voxel. The final volume data is then normalised between 0 and 1.
